Cinco De Mayo Celebrations

Cinco de Mayo is a heavily celebrated holiday in the Southwest. It is celebrating The Day of the Battle of Puebla which was Mexico’s unlikely victory over French forces on May 5, 1862! With celebration, comes drinking. This year Arizona is going strong on DUI taskforces and checkpoints. Partying for the holiday officially kicks off this weekend, on Friday, May 1st. With strict DUI laws, it is simply not worth it to drive, not only for potential fines and loss of license, but most importantly, to protect lives.
