10 Tips for a Safe, Fun St. Patrick’s Day

It’s a week away from St. Patrick’s Day! And you know what that means: Whiskey and green beer, green attire and accessories, shepherd’s pie, and the freedom to pinch anyone who didn’t wear green. 

Don’t let it also mean getting caught in the DUI line during this holiday, or March Madness for that matter. Here are some tips to help you stay safe and have fun:

1. Leave your loot at home. 
You’ll only need your driver’s license, money, and smartphone … oh and don’t forget your blinking shamrock pin.

2. Be aware of your surroundings.
If you’re going to a crowded event, such as a local St. Paddy’s Day parade or Irish pub, locate exits and where you can go for help if necessary.

3. Create your luck with Transcity Limos.
Keep in mind, drinks inside pubs will add up. Instead, split the cost of a limo with a group of friends. You can party onboard, skip the crowds, stay safe, and travel in style.

4. Don’t press your luck.

Finish your green beer before using the bathroom. You never know when a lurking leprechaun may slip something into it.

9. Be prepared.

10. Be smart.
